F15 BMW X5 First ImPRESSions.

BMW recently held a press drive of the all new F15 BMW X5 in Vancouver, so the first impressions are rolling in. Have a look at some press photos from this event and links to the first reviews.

F15 BMW M5 M50d and Individual Program

The BMW X5 M50d featured here will not make it to the United States, the photos were taken in Vancouver with Ontario Plates and there has been no official statement yet the availability of BMW X5 M50d in Canada. The European Spec is shown in these pictures taking note of the long Euro plate holders and the lack of side markers. Press Release Munich. The new BMW X5 is due to arrive in the showrooms on 16 November 2013. The launch of this third generation of the most successful Sports Activity Vehicle in the world will also introduce the BMW M50d M Performance Automobile. Boasting the world’s most powerful six-in-line diesel engine, suspension technology with hallmark M precision-tuning and aerodynamically honed exterior features, the BMW X5 M50d (Unavailable to US market) combines superior dynamics on the road with unimpeachable traction off the beaten track. Concept BMW X5 eDrive (Gallery)

Press Release from Munich. The new BMW X5 raises efficiency to another new level in the world of the luxurious Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). BMW is using the 2013 Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA) to present the logical next step towards landmark efficiency in the SAV segment. The BMW Concept X5 eDrive combines the brand of driving pleasure for which the xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system is renowned and a luxurious ambience within the variable-use interior with a plug-in hybrid drive concept. Its innovative BMW eDrive technology guarantees the hallmark sporting ability of a BMW, while at the same time opening the door to speeds of up to 120 km/h (75 mph), a maximum range of 30 kilometres (19 miles) on electric power alone and average fuel consumption in the EU test cycle of 3.8 litres per 100 kilometres (74.3 mpg imp). Leaked Offical images of the 2014 F15 BMW X5

Some official online brochure images surfaced on the web today of the 2014 F15 BMW X5. The images is pretty low resolution but we will update as soon as we receive some higher res official images. We can dare say it looks pretty close to our render from a few weeks ago. From these images we can see the full LED headlight setup, also the new X5 will feature the Air Curtain Technology alongside with the Boomerang vents from the 4 Series coupe.
