MINI Hardcore: MINI John Cooper Works GP

We have been contemplating for a few days already whether or not we show you this MINI JCW GP, because once again it is not confirmed for the Canadian market. Sold as a limited production run of 2000 units worldwide (Which could include Canada if it passes all the safety regulations) the GP does 8:23 around the Nürburgring-Nordschleife through a twin scroll turbo'ed 1.6 Liter 4 Cylinder with around 220 to 230 Horsepower. The Chassis? Yes it has been lightened the brakes are race spec and the wheels are 4 spoke light weight alloys, there are many light weight race specific parts on the MINI JCW GP. Expected official unveiling around early 2013. UPDATED: Price range will be around the range of $45,000 - $48,000 CAD and at this time will be slated for November 2012 Production for a January 2013 Delivery. (Click read more for full gallery)

Honey I shrunk the car - 1:18 Scale MINI and BMW, Great Gift ideas!

If Tinkerbell or Tiny Tim was shopping for a new car then we have a great selection to choose from in 1:18 Scale. Now how we would all love to purchase the 1:1 scale version of these car as gifts for our loved ones, for most that is not quite feasible (Because we don't have enough space). We have some inventory designed to fit perfectly on a shelf or on your desk. These 1:18 scale models are delightfully intricate complete with operable bonnet, trunk lids and on sedans all 4 doors open! The floors and trunk is lined with carpets (Sorry, no winter mats available) The wheels turns left and right as you would expect... there are even little seat belts and seat belt buckles. Hatchbacks and Touring had always been a popular choice for Europeans because they are more flexible then a sedans and carries just as much as an SUV and in may cases more fuel efficient. Touring, Sport-wagons and shooting brakes generally lags behind in sales compared to sedans and SUVs here in North America, perhaps with the introduction of this sportier looking and even more efficient new BMW 3 Series Touring; the future may be different.

Rear window opens separately from automatic tailgate
Available with full glass panoramic sunroof

When compared to E91 3 Series Touring:
37mm (1.46 inch) wider front track
48mm (1.85 inch) wider rear track
97mm (3.66 inch) longer
50mm (1.96 inch) longer wheelbase
Total 495 liters of cargo room - 10% more cargo volume with rear seats up and folded.
