BMW i8 Production Renders May 2013

Based on the latest spyshots showing the new 2015 BMW i8 wearing it's production wheels and minimal camouflage on, it is very easy to see tiny details in the bodywork that we have never seen before. The i8's 1.5L three cylinder turbocharged gas engine in the rear and the 128hp electric motor is expected to generate about 354hp / 500Nm torque, 0-62 mph in approximately 4.6 seconds, top speed of 155mph, 78 MPG (european test cycle), up to 47 MPG average fuel consumption, with emissions generated to just 66g/km. MINI Cooper sets sail, without the sail. (Gallery)

Is that a MINI Cooper S Convertible driving on water? It isn't, actually it is a MINI Cooper themed boat manufactured by ACI Composites Inc in Pennsylvania. the MINI Boat is molded from a 2004 MINI Cooper S in fiberglass then married with a boat hull and a 6hp outboard motor for good measure.
